Rescuing Rosie, the Adventurous Cockatiel

My partner, Tom, and I went hiking on a attractive Vermont tumble working day. We went to a close by pond, wherever we read a quantity of birds. From throughout the pond came a single chook seem we did not understand. The chicken acquired nearer and closer. Was it a cardinal? A warbler?
Suddenly the chook flew around us to a tree, and we noticed a flash of color. We then understood it was a cockatiel. Someone’s pet must have gotten loose.
It referred to as to us, and we commenced contacting back. Tom pulled out peanuts and raisins from his backpack. As a farm boy he had figured out to lie down to bring in wandering heifers, relying on their curiosity. The system worked for this cockatiel also. The chicken landed and began having the nuts. It will have to have been starving.
