A poor Shih Tzu in desperate need of a haircut was rescued from the streets by vets who said the dog had “one of the worst matting cases we have ever seen”.
The stricken pooch was completely transformed with a two-hour grooming session, as seen in a TikTok video uploaded by the charity @kcpetproject on Tuesday, June 15.
In the clip, a woman from the non-profit says: “This 11-year-old Shih Tzu came in as a stray today.
“This is possibly one of the worst matting that we have ever seen. We can only guess how long it took for him to get into this condition.”
