Pandemic pets mind-boggling Marblehead vet, groomers & additional
When COVID-19 strike and lockdowns started, millions of Americans decided it was the right time to get a new dog or cat. Now, those pandemic pets are overwhelming animal hospitals, groomers, and pet daycares, in particular as additional people today head back again to the office.
“We’re at our wits’ close,” reported Dr. Jeff Rockwell, owner of Atlantic Veterinary Healthcare facility in Marblehead, which introduced final week that it will not be taking on any new customers. “We have an inflow of new pets and fewer staff members, which is a awful blend.”
